I’m not ignoring you, I’m just so tired and I think I might need a couple of weeks off!

I have got lots of blogs to write, I’ve been doing and seeing some interesting things, and got loads of new books too.

But today, the title of of my blog is one of my favourite artists, Fabian Perez.

FP is quite well known now, and as a teenager, he started drawing the people around him… in bars and brothels owned by his father.

I discovered him when I lived in Notting Hill for a little while, a few years ago. There was a gallery on Westbourne Grove, and I stopped in my tracks one day when I saw one of his paintings in the window. It was dazzling, and really sexy!

I wondered if it was of a lady of the night…and I went inside to find out.

It was, so I was thrilled!

Then I saw the price tag…eek!

But I thought…I AM going to own one of his paintings one day.

And that day has come now, because just by chance, I was in Notting Hill the other day, and walked by that gallery…he is unveiling his new paintings there on Thursday. So, I will get to meet him too!

I have already chosen the painting too. I’ve never owned an original painting before, never mind one by someone quite famous!

I wish I could tell him that he should paint me too…I’d be a comfy fit, right there.

Now, I have discovered that the 2700 year old adjective in the dictionary (owned by the Greeks, if anyone) is copyrighted!

So…I have to be careful about usage now…eek! How the hell anyone can copyright a word from the dictionary that isn’t really theirs, is beyond me/human logic. But there you go. I’m going to copyright the words ‘they’ and ‘are’ and ‘idiots’ in protest.

Using ‘Olympics’ was really a gimmick of course, no-one is really going to use the word Olympics to look for UK or London escorts, they will just use UK escort or London escort! Postcodes, named areas, etc. And if they are here visiting…they will Google touristy things, sights etc. That’s where our London and UK tourist blog comes in. The more we write about the sights, the more Google will show! I don’t think that saying ‘London Eye’ or ‘Tower Of London’ is jail worthy. If I’m suddenly arrested, I will eat my seamed stockings and suspenders. On toast! Not tasty…or even toasty. Oh wait a minute…I think ‘Toast’ is copyrighted as a fashion label now. Jesus Christ…! I may not ever leave the house or speak, ever again!

In my arty job stuffs, sometimes I’m booked to do the make up for shoots, and this time it was an advertising shoot.

This pays very well indeed and the photographer is like my brother now, even though we sort of fancied one another at first. We never got it together, and it wouldn’t happen now anyway, we’ve been friends for years.

I was booked for this shoot out of town, and the team (photographer, 2 assistants, wardrobe, art director, hairstylist, 3 models and me) were staying at this very posh and gorgeous country manor for 3 nights. My room had a four poster bed, a bathroom bigger than my living room etc. Fabulous.

After the first day of shooting, we had dinner together and retired early for the next day.

I knew that I had to get up early, but I switched the tv on, and thought that I’d flip through some channels and fall asleep whenever.

I found ‘Zorro’ with Antonio Banderas, but kept on flipping through to see if there was anything better.

Suddenly, I was on a porn channel…and of course I looked at it! It was full of orange chicks with stuck-on-ball type tits, fake moaning and badly dubbed dialogue, and even worse ‘acting’.  I watched it for about 10mins for the comedy value, and knew that ‘Zorro’ was the better choice.

But I couldn’t find ‘Zorro’, and no matter what buttons I clicked on the remote control, this naff porn film wouldn’t go away!

I switched the tv off, I unplugged it, plugged it in again, turned it on, I clicked every button on the tv, and the remote, but to no avail, so I gave up and went to bed.

When we were leaving on the final day, the team were all in the foyer ready to leave, and the photographer was paying the bill.

He then turned around, pointed at me, and said…

‘AND, I HAVE PAID FOR YOUR PORN FILM, WHICH ISN’T PART OF THE CLIENT BILL,  HMMM?

Everyone started laughing at me, and my face was boiling hot, screaming crimson!

I tried to tell them about the tv not playing fair, not letting me change channels etc! But no one would believe me, of course.

It reminded me of a past meeting…I told him the funny story.

I had been whisked away to Paris for a few days…
Mr X had to work whilst we were there, and I went to the Louvre, Gallerie Lafayette etc.
I awoke when he did, but didn’t have to get dressed so quickly, so I faffed about with washing, dressing, doing my make up, etc. I went out for breakfast too. Never saw the hotel much as they had decorators painting in the foyer.
I could put the tv on, but I only managed to find music channels like MTV. Ok, I could sing along…
We didn’t have ‘a room with a view’, but it was a lovely room all the same. I was quite pleased that no one could see us when the window was open, there was only a rooftop with a silver coating..probably to reflect heat.
So each morning, I had the French windows open full, lovely sunny days, even sunnier because of the silver rooftops…I thought, ‘Oh this is the life! I’m in Paris, I’m with a fab guy, I’m eating fab food, it’s summer, I have the Louvre…’
And I danced naked to Celine Dion, diving off of the bed, hairbrush in hand, singing with clenched fist and emotional face etc…’My heart will go ooooooonnnn…’
Just like boybands do, and I hate seeing those..they’re about 16, and they’re too young to be feeling it! I think that I am allowed to do this, though…

Our visit was over, and we headed down to the foyer to sign the bill etc, and I wandered about.
I saw the painters nodding to one another and smiling, and then nodding towards me.
I thought, ‘Yeah, I must be looking quite nice today, they’re all smiling at me, haha..’

So I smiled back.
Then…I saw the one way glass ceiling. And our room. And the window facing right onto the reception, foyer, and breakfast room. Oh. My. God.
Yes, you’re right, I had been seen by the whole hotel, dancing naked and leaping about with the hairbrush, bowing to my ‘imaginary audience’, who were in fact, REAL!
The silver roof wasn’t just for reflection…oh no. EVERYONE saw me, the staff, all the painters, the other guests at breakfast.
My face was suddenly boiling hot, and and I sprinted out of the hotel, leaving my man of the moment in wonderment.
He eventually came out and asked ‘What’s up? Why did you run away so quickly?’

And I told him. He was hysterical with laughter, and STILL reminds me about it! He even bought me a fake microphone, hahaha!
But my heart will go oooonnnnnnn and ooonnnnnnnn…in private. I’m quite a good singer you know. Honest, I am!

I went to her funeral last week.
Three of us were going together, meeting others there.
I got the flowers together, a ‘cushion’ design with red/pink/purple flowers and pink ribboned frame. I put one purple flower in with her, and have pressed a pink orchid for keeps.
We set off in the car at 8.30am for the 1pm service, up north.
It took over 3hrs to exit London, alone! Eventually…we got into town. A very nice place.
Then..the church name and street…oops. Three churches with the same name, two streets with the same name, not near one another either! We just made it…phew!
The church was packed out, we needed to sit on the extra chairs in an aisle. It was great to see how many people really loved her! That was lovely.
The order of service had the most gorgeous photo of her on it, I was wowed! I’m going to frame it.
The minister was fantastic, he added some very personal quips, she was a local girl, and he knew her well, he said. He had lost his own daughter early too.
The music was personal, but we did sing some hymms too.
Then..it was time to watch her leaving the church.
Oh God, it was so surreal, knowing that she was in that casket, passing by us.
I had a cry then, we all did. I’d forgotten the waterproof mascara too, but I couldn’t care less.
She wasn’t going far, just out to the churchyard. Some people have to go far out of town don’t they?
There were several ‘fresh beds’ beside her. I wanted to think that she had some new friends…and she would be saying…
‘Hello! Did you just get here before me? I’ve only been here a few hours..’
She would be in the new place, putting the kettle on, organising everyone!
And looking at us, smiling at us, making fun of us all crying.
I hope to find that out to be true, some day.

I’m going to visit her in summer, when she’s all settled in. I’ll have a good chat with her too.

Some ladies and I are going to meet up for an evening soon, in honour of that wonderful girl. If you are reading this, lets plan it soon? Her birthday is coming up…? Even if you didn’t meet her, you’re welcome. We’ll tell you all how fab she is/was.

It was a terrible shock, I had only spoken to her the week before. I did know that she had been quite ill those past weeks, we had been talking about it then, but we didn’t think it was life threatening at the time. I was planning to pop up to see her in her hometown in the coming weeks, and have a girly night in, chatting over a bottle of wine/pizza, watch a dvd etc.
I am still in disbelief, it was just so sudden, and unexpected. When a ‘lady’ leaves this mortal coil, I hate how people jump to conclusions about how they died. So, though I’m not going into details, I will tell you that she certainly wasn’t the type to ‘party’. Far too smart and sensible for that. It was a sudden condition that could have happened to anyone. She was only 37. It’s just not fair!

We met about 6yrs ago when I first came online, she was known as ‘Indi’ then, and she was very friendly and helpful to me in my new online foray. After a few weeks, along with Eleanor A, we planned a night out. The three of us had a good fun night, excitedly chatting away for ever, and we stayed good friends through the years. Eleanor isn’t around (working) at the moment, but some people may remember a bodypainted photo in homage to the Bond film ‘Quantum of Solace’?
Indi and I bodypainted her, together! I made the logo stencil and brought my body make up kit.
‘I’ll do the left leg, arm and bum cheek, you do the right?’ I said.
We both took photos of Eleanor for her site, we all took photos of each other at times, and had great fun doing them.
Between the three of us, Indi had the most beautiful cutesy face, Eleanor had the most amazingly fit figure, I was somewhere inbetween, with the ordinary face and ordinary figure! Oh well…hahaha!

Indi was gorgeous, friendly, easy-going, smart, sensible, really funny, very creative and a talented ‘techy geek’. She always said that she was a geek…I was quite in awe of her techy skills, she didn’t need a webmaster, or any help, she could do it all by herself, and she did. She took this other talent afar, and had another very successful business too, right up until now.
She told me that she missed her naughty bits though…’I'm doing really well with the PR, but I need to touch a naked man, and bloody soon!’

And we laughed…and planned a new photoshoot/ a new site, etc. She had to back out of the shoot because of her other business…this is the reason that I had new photos in Nov!? I took her place.

We had ‘shared’ quite a few visitors in the past too, I had suggested her to some boys, she had suggested me to some boys! I was super thrilled that she was coming back, I was so excited for her, and did a blogpost about her return.
